RIDDICK ‘Big Daddy ‘ BOWE
Riddick “Big Daddy” Bowe is a two-time Heavyweight Champion anda former Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World. He is best remembered for his
trilogy of fights with Evander Holyfield, and 2 brutal bouts with Andrew Golota.
In November 1992 he fought reigning champ Evander Holyfield for the undisputed title.
Bowe won a unanimous decision in an entertaining fight, flooring Holyfield in the 11th.
The epic fight became Ring Magazine’s “Round of the Year.”

DENNIS WISE Played as a central midfielder and was noted for his aggressive and highly-competitive style of play. In a career spanning over 20 years, he played for Wimbledon, Leicester City, Millwall, Southampton, Coventry City and, most notably, Chelsea. During his time at Stamford Bridge, Wise won two FA Cups, a League Cup and a Cup Winners’ Cup, becoming the club’s most successful captain. JULIAN DICKS He played left-back for Birmingham City, West Ham United (twice), Liverpool and Canvey Island. He was known as a “hard man” (his nickname was “The Terminator”) and tough tackler in possession of a cultured left foot and a fierce shot in regular demand as a penalty and free-kick taker. He scored 10 goals for West Ham in the 1995–96 season, which is the best return for a defender in the Premier League. He was voted West Ham’s player of the year four times between 1990 and 1997. ALAN SMITH Signed with Leicester City in June 1982. During his first season scoring 13 goals in a partnership with Gary Lineker. He spent five seasons at Leicester, scoring 84 goals in 217 appearances transferring to Arsenal in 1987. Enjoying a successful career with the Gunners, winning all three major domestic trophies – two League Championships, the FA Cup, the Football League Cup (in their 1993 ‘Cup Double’) and in Europe the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup. He scored the first goal in Arsenal’s dramatic League Championship winning victory at Anfield in May 1989, and the only goal of the 1994 European Cup Winners’ Cup Final victory against Parma. Smith was Arsenal’s top scorer for four consecutive seasons, and the top scorer in the First Division in the 1988-89 season with 23 goals. ALAN MINTER Winner of the Amateur Boxing Association middleweight title in 1971 and chosen to fight for Great Britain at the 1972 Summer Games. He won the British middleweight title in 1975 and added the European title in 1977. He the regained the European crown in 1978 albeit in tragic circumstances. After a run of victories Minter travelled to Las Vegas and won the undisputed world middleweight title with a victory over Italy’s Vito Antofuermo.  PETER McPARLAND He scored twice in the 1957 FA Cup final victory over Manchester United. He also won the 2nd Division title in 1960 and the League Cup in 1961 while with Aston Villa. He was on the scoresheet for the second leg of the 1961 League Cup final, when Villa overturned a 2-0 deficit against Rotherham United to win the second leg 3-0 at Villa Park and become the winners of the very first Football League Cup. ROBBIE FOWLER Best known for his playing days at Liverpool and is the 4th highest goalscorer in the history of the Premier League. Fowler scored 183 goals in total for Liverpool, He subsequently played for Leeds United and Manchester City, before returning to Liverpool in January 2006.  STEVE COPPELL Former footballer and manager. As a player, he was a highly regarded right winger, and represented England 42 times. Due to a knee injury, he went into management, most notably with Crystal Palace and Reading, with whom he took from strugglers, to both club’s greatest ever successes in the league. He is also credited with discovering players such as Ian Wright, a striker he signed from non league football who became a household name and international footballer. GORDON McQUEEN A central defender for Leeds United, Manchester United and Scotland. Leeds won the league championship, going 29 games without defeat at the start of the season, and McQueen played a crucial part. NEIL WEBB Played most notably for Portsmouth, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United. In 1985, Nottingham Forest manager Brian Clough paid Portsmouth £250,000. At Forest he developed into a top class midfielder, and won the League Cup in 1989. Neil Webb was the 1000th player to be capped by England, winning 26 caps. FRANK STAPLETON A centre forward best known for his especially good ability to head the ball. He started his career with Arsenal in 1972 as an apprentice, after being turned down by Manchester United. He made his first team debut in 1975 against Stoke City where he would go on to form a potent striking partnership with Malcolm Macdonald at the Gunners; the two scored 46 goals between them in 1976-77. He was Arsenal’s top scorer for the three following seasons, and helped the Gunners reach a trio of FA Cup finals and scored 108 goals in 300 appearances in total during his time at Highbury. Frank moved to Manchester United in 1981 for £900,000 and would help United win the 1983 and 1985 FA Cups. He left United in 1987, after scoring 78 goals in 365 matches for the Old Trafford club.
